The moment light passes through the foliage in From the Shadow, it ignites the color with luminosity and glow, making it appear as if the very essence of life is glowing from within it. This luminosity mimics the effect of an ignited cathedral window. The sunlight penetrates through the depth of foliage greenery, illuminating it with bright and warm hues.

The opaque leaves and freely sprawling vines overlap the warm translucency of the vale, bringing the vines to center stage in this scene. They hang from the top left and obscure the view as if creating a mystical prism through which we perceive the light.
